Without the 2-year window, injustice to all violated still stands! The lobbies will have won the battle to maintain their hidden policies that have allowed hundreds of children to be violated, and then left to heal for themselves while the predators are transferred to violate again! Shameful! Disgusting! And unbelievable that Justice4PAKids isn’t declaring this compromise an unacceptble result….pathetic!
Hang on about Justice4pakids not declaring this as unacceptable– press release to come soon! Please note amendments can be made to the bills to PUT BACK in the language for window legislation that will all be up for discussion when the Chair of the Rules Committee brings these bills to his committee’s attention. Best thing we can do starting Monday is call the Rules Committee Chair and politely ask him to have his committee start to run the bills trough discussion.
Thank you for continuing the fight to help all kids – past, present, and future! We look forward to the press release and efforts to restore the window law as an amendment through the procedural action initiated by the Chair of the Rules Committee, as you described above. Without it, we will never learn the truth behind the institutional silence that allowed sexual predators to operate and prey on children freely and without prosecution for decades!
House Chairman ,past victims need the 2 year window to have justice.
